What’s New in Office 2013?

Are you thinking about getting Office Home and Student 2013? In early 2013, Microsoft has released this wonderful suite along with Office 365 in the same year. These have become a big change in the platform especially because of the incorporation of cloud computing.  Microsoft has also enhanced the interface for individuals. This includes the touch-screen capabilities of Office and certain other features such as being able to interface with LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.

The first and probably most important benefit of Office 2013 is the cloud-based storage. OneDrive allows you to access your school documents from anywhere including PC’s Tablets or even your university computers! Interfacing with the Web gives you maximum mobility especially if your school projects require you to access documents from multiple places.

Second, you can now edit PDF files on Office 2013. Isn’t that awesome? PDF’s are one of the most professional looking formats for a long time now – yet this time around you can even embed YouTube videos and images from within the document.

Third, the Read Mode makes reading comfortable. You can read the document clearly with the help of this mode and it allows text to flow easily in columns. Scrolling becomes unnecessary. You can focus on studying your soft copies of notes for easy internalization.

Did you know that you can now write mails with stylus? You can convert them to text right away too. You can also create presentations with the stylus with Office Student 2013.

OneNote is great as a personal assistant. You can collect essential notes and these include images, messages and text that can then be saved in OneDrive. You can access your notes from anywhere! You may also enjoy the more polished look of Office Word 2013. It looks cleaner and slicker. You can create documents with so much ease and like all the apps in this suite, you can share them easily.  The UI is much more user-friendly and this can help you in concentrating on creating good quality content, rather than focusing on the sides and frames of the open window.

You should know that you can always go for free office suites on the Web. But Microsoft OfficeHome Student 2013 is of the highest quality. It has tools that can enhance your creativity as a student and will help you make your presentations more appealing. Go beyond just creating subpar projects and start acing your grades with the best that this office suite can give you.
